Hiking with huskies in Hammerfest

The trip starts with an introduction to the breed Siberian Husky and life with polar dogs. We find the dogs that are going on the hike with us, harness them, and prepare our self. The guide will help find the right match between dog and guest. Normally we will go with one dog per two guests, so you can change on who is walking the dog. They are well trained sled dogs, and you will most likely appreciate having someone to share the dog with.

The destination of the hike will be adjusted to the guests' desires and capacities, and the weather and conditions. The guide can tell you about Finnmark, about the area we are in, and how it is to live with, and train, a pack of Siberian Huskies.
